Valerie O’Hogan knew Elizabeth Klarer, a South African woman who became well known at the end of the 20th century for her book, Beyond the Light Barrier.’ Which chronicles Elizabeth’s life and experiences with an off world being called, ‘Akon, who’s civilisation was originally from Venus, who now inhabits a planet called Meton, in the Alpha Centauri star system.

An amateur astronomer since young childhood, Valerie belonged to many astronomical societies in South Africa and world wide. She met Patrick Moore and Jack Bennett, who discovered Bennett’s Comet.

Valerie concluded an EDx X-Series Programme in Astrophysics and Cosmology through the Australian National University, with an lecturing professor who won the Nobel Prize; taken part in various modules in Astronomy through the Open University, UK.

This is the autobiographical story of Elizabeth Klarer, a South African woman, and Akon, an astrophysicist from Meton, a planet of Proxima Centuri that, at a distance of about 4.3 light years, is our nearest stellar neighbor. Elizabeth was taken in his spaceship to Meton, where she lived with him and his family for four months and where she bore his child. Her life on Meton is fascinatingly described. Akon brought Elizabeth back to Earth after the birth of their son and continued to visit her thereafter.

Akon explained how his spaceship’s light-propulsion technology operated, and how it allowed him and his people to travel across vast interstellar distances. This technology is explained in detail in the book.

Elizabeth was given a standing ovation at the 11th International Congress of UFO Research Groups at Weisbaden in 1975, and her speech as guest of honor was applauded by scientists of twenty-two nations.

Valerie has written a book about her time with Elizabeth called: My Memories of Elizabeth Klarer: Released in Sept 2021. A book of personal memories and information shared with Valerie by Elizabeth, and a companion to her book “Beyond the Light Barrier”.

Valerie enjoys music, art, gardening, reading, writing books and meditating. And is continuing Elizabeth Klarer’s mission to inform humanity about our Star Nation brothers and Sisters, who exists Beyond the Light Barrier.
