Eric Rankin grew up in the yachting industry in Southern California. Drawing from his experience as a licensed boat captain, stunt-boat operator for television and film, SCUBA diver and freelance writer,  Eric creates a lush and scenic backdrop for his first novel “The Aquarians.” Eric has traveled the world swimming with dolphins and exploring Mayan ruins of the Yucatan. These experiences led him on a path that directed his attention to the end of the Mayan calendar in the year 2012 – a moment in time that seems to be serving as a spiritual wake-up call to all humanity.  In 2012 before a debilitating illness, a female voice spoke to Eric in his mind, asking him to draw and stating she could help him. 

Eric Rankin is credited with discovering a significant and previously unknown connection between geometry and musical harmonics. His groundbreaking research,  “Sonic Geometry,” suggests that not only is our geometric universe a symphonic system functioning in literal harmony with itself, but that this system may have actually been engineered by extraterrestrial beings.
