Shaun Lether had a near-death experience in 2004, while visiting Hawaii, that led him to never return to his home in Los Angeles, but instead led him to stay in Hawaii, where he experienced years of trauma, ego death, and STEs. The crescendo came in 2018 with a profound NDE which for Shaun was a rebirth after a life of trial by fire.   

Through a series of Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) and Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), and their powerful after-effects, Shaun Lether awakened to his true spiritual nature and discovered his life’s purpose.  That purpose did not revolve around his previous successes in academics and business. Rather, his soul’s purpose centered around mind, body, and spirit healing, and being of service to others.

Forever changed, and amid a Spiritual Emergency, in 2019, Shaun started a sharing group to support NDErs and STErs. That group has grown to become Hawaiian IANDS, (International Association for Near-Death Studies) with thousands of members worldwide. Shaun facilitates experiencers sharing groups with many spiritual organizations as well as runs several NDE, STE, and Life After Death Facebook groups with a combined membership of over 1,100,000. Shaun has learned that as he helps others heal, so he is healed.
