Paul King is the Founder of the Afterlife Convention in Sydney Australia. From an early age, Paul viewed the world through rose-colored glasses, fearlessly pursuing his dreams and shaping life on his terms. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, his youthful passion centred around surfing. Everything changed after his first surfing holiday journey to Indonesia, where he made the bold decision to sell off his belongings in Australia and relocate to Bali, chasing the opportunity to surf some of the world’s most perfect waves. He founded a surf tour enterprise, guiding surfers from around the world to the remotest regions and islands of Indonesia for 20+ years.
Bali became his sanctuary, where he developed deep connections with its people and the profound teachings of Hinduism. Embracing a spiritual outlook, he believed in a greater purpose beyond this earthly existence.
The impact of September 11 dealt a crushing blow to several of Paul’s ventures, forcing their closure and prompting his return to Australia. Alongside losing his assets, the passion that fuelled my life—surfing—waned.
For many years thereafter, he led a subdued existence, marked by survival and inner scars. The passing of his father in 2019 brought a noticeable shift in his perspective.
Around 2021, Paul crossed paths with Mirella Curtale, an amazing psychic medium whose influence proved transformative. Immersing himself in her psychic circle, Paul embarked on an intensive spiritual journey that unearthed profound revelations. After six decades on this planet, Paul has finally grasped his true calling and life’s purpose.
As Paul’s understanding and intuition deepened, so did his spiritual connection. Initially skeptical of receiving messages from spirit, he struggled to discern their origin. Persistent messages compelled Paul to put together The Afterlife Convention in Sydney in September 2024, a monumental endeavour aimed at spiritual healing and education, a mission he is embracing wholeheartedly, rekindling his passion and zest for life.
