An author, co-author & editor of 101 books that have appeared in 24 languages, DR Ervin Laszlo is the Founder-Director of the Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research, Italy. He’s written several hundred papers and articles in scientific journals and popular magazines, and has had an extensive career winning many awards and prizes for his work through out his life. Ervin spent his childhood in Budapest, Hungary, and was a celebrated musical child prodigy excelling in piano, doing public appearances from the age of nine. He received a grand prize at the international music competition in Geneva, which allowed him to leave Hungary and begin an international concert career, first in Europe and then in America.
Shifting to the life of a scientist and a humanist, Dr Laszlo received the Sorbonne’s highest degree. In the late 70s and early 80s, Dr Laszlo ran global projects at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, at the request of the Secretary-General. And In the 90s his research led him to the discovery of the Akashic Field.
Dr Laszlo has been awarded many prises, and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004 and 2005. In 2019, Dr Laszlo was cited as one of the “100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People in the World” according to Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazine. He is a member of numerous scientific bodies, elected member of the Hungarian Academy of Science in 2010.
A native of Budapest and a U.S. citizen, he lives with Carita, his Finnish-born wife in Tuscany.
