As a child, Dayna was an avid reader of classic novels, wanting to tell stories like the ones she read. Her first foray into creative writing was in an elective screenwriting class in college. But her teacher was very discouraging, so Dayna believed she would never succeed as a writer. She searched for her place and purpose in the world, but It wasn’t until June 1994, while camping in Sedona Arizona with a friend,  Dayna had an encounter with an extraterrestrial being of light, who communicated she would write about this race of beings in the future. This is when her writing journey began, as she wanted to share the story of this race with the world. But Creating an awakened world novel with well-developed characters and a compelling storyline was beyond her skills at that time, so Dayna began writing screenplays. She worked on the crew of the film William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and this spurred her creativity further.
