Christina Christou - KAren Swain

Christina Christou has been studying and practicing the art of healing and meditation since 2000. As a child she suffered a lot of physical pain, by the age of 12 she’d had her 5th surgery, and made a vow never to enter hospital again. But at 22, the pain became unbearable, so she sought out yet another medical doctor. The doctors only solution was more surgery, or the pain would get worse, they said. In her mind this was NOT an option.

So She traveled the world spending time with Indigenous teachers who helped her heal her body and make peace with this world. She went searching for truth and ways to heal her body.

On her travels she was honoured to live with, and learn from indigenous medicine men and women from North, & Latin America and Australia. The various medicine people Christina encountered shared tools and teachings which helped heal her body and stop her pain. These insightful teachers and healers, enabled her to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually.

She discovered the power of indigenous teachings, how they have a transformative effect on people’s ability to release the wounds of the past, and manifest the futures they seek. This was the catalyst for her to become a healer. The Teachings included Reiki, Shamanism, Crystal Healing, Sound Therapy and Plant medicine.

Today Christina works as a carer and healer, is passionate about mother earth and environmental issues, and supports other healers and teachers with talks and gatherings in Sydney. Visit Christina’s Website here
