After the tragic suicide of her twenty year old son Erik in 2009, Elisa started a Blog called Channeling Erik to channel her grief, which would not only transform her life, but would transform all who comes across it. Elisa was an internist in Houston for over thirty years. Since her son’s suicide Dr. Elisa Medhus retired her practice and has written two books about her continuing relationship with Erik. 1.
