The Transformation of a Man and a Life.

Listen to my wonderful conversation with Dr Iain Edwards about his life transforming discoveries after the senseless murder of his wife Margaritte on the 2nd of August 1989.

Dr Iain Edwards lived through something most of us could never imagine, the senseless murder of his beloved wife. Through a series of extraordinary experiences, which would see Iain embark on a spiritual journey, he discovers wisdom and knowledge which would transform his life.

As Iain Edwards went to bed on the evening of August 1st, 1989, he had everything a man could want: a loving wife of 21 years, three wonderful daughters under the age of 13, a big, beautiful home and a successful orthodontics practice in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. His wife Margueritte commented as they went to sleep together that night, “our life is too perfect.”

Less than twenty-four hours later, that perfect life was over. After learning that Margueritte had failed to pick their daughters up from school, Iain returned home to discover his wife brutally murdered, her body dumped in the walk-in wardrobe of their bedroom. And just like that, Iain’s dream life was suddenly a nightmare. With no leads in the case, suspected by the community of murdering his beloved wife, his family shattered, Iain felt as though he’d lost everything. Yet somehow, at his absolute lowest, Iain began a search for meaning that would transform his life and give him the fortitude to go on.

” I felt physically connected with something else that I had never been aware of before.”

“People would say to me: It’s terrible that Margaritte died, and I would say to them; Yes it’s terrible but really the good thing is, now I know that god is real; and they would look at me like I was nuts.”

I speak with Iain on ATP about his heartbreaking, but ultimately remarkable and inspiring true transformational story.
