Father of Chloe, killed in the Bali Bombings in 2002, Dave Byron is finding Happiness every morning by making a powerful choice. He has the BEST attitude to life, this is a must listen…
One of the most inspirational men I have spoken to, Dave reminds us that it is a daily choice to think in a way that feels good or feels bad, when you hear his story you will agree. Losing your child in an act of terrorism, is a reason to feel bad. But after years of hating, crying, blaming and feeling bad, he decided he had a choice to live again. To think in a way that feels better than the story of his loss. He told me, every morning when he wakes up and thinks of Chloe, he has a choice between a happy memory of Chloe over the memory of her tragic death. He chooses the happy memory, which is the difference between a great day and a terrible one. Dave also went on to say, when he scratches himself, the grief can come back again to try to destroy his day. He said these thoughts come back to him often, but he knows he has a choice about how long he will let them stay. He knows in the next thought, he can see Chloe riding the waves at Bondi and he will feel good again. Have a listen to Dave share his story, in his own words…
